Associate Director of Help Desk Operations

Duties and Responsibilities:  
Reporting to the Chief Information Officer at Lesley University, the Associate Director of Help Desk Operations oversees Help Desk Operations (HDO) which supports technology holistically across the University inclusive of individual & department technology, classroom, labs & learning spaces, open use areas as well as in collaboration with Off Campus Operations group. Technology includes hardware, software, printing, audio visual equipment and overall network connectivity. The HDO group supports students, faculty & staff with Lesley issued technology, services & facilities.  
 
The successful candidate will: oversee the support for classrooms, labs, and large multi-use venues as well as all technology for departments, schools and their employees in the University; direct the Help Desk Manager, Classrooms and Labs Coordinator and Student Work Program Manager to ensure that the classrooms, labs, and multi-use facilities are operational and fully supported; direct the Assets Coordinator and Help Desk Manager to ensure that faculty and staff are fully equipped and supported in their technology needs; and work with the CIO to manage Help Desk Operations operating expenses as well as plan capital expenditures and management of ongoing technology needs. Responsible for developing the requirements and estimates for capital expenditures inclusive of A/V, desktop, laptop and lab equipment upgrades working in collaboration with other UT leadership.
