Associate IT Project Manager

Blizzard Entertainment has an opening for an experienced associate IT project manager with enterprise service experience.

 

Responsibilities Provide motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved in a timely manner. Lead and drive project status meetings. Develop and review complex technical project plans. Deliver regular reports of capacity and project status to upper management. Coordinate and report the response to any incidents or outages.Work with department leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion. Contribute to a positive work environment. Define scope and solutions to complicated and ambiguous operational problems. Handle other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements Extensive firsthand experience with Blizzard Entertainment gamesStrong passion for both playing and providing a world class serviceUnrelenting self-motivation and initiative to produce nothing but successCapacity and desire to learn all facets of the gameExceptional oral and written communication skillsAbility to communicate effectively with personnel of all disciplines, including programming, design, production, quality assurance, sales, and marketingExperience managing technical engineering teams and delivering high quality products on timeExperience with establishing and monitoring efficient operational processesExceptional scheduling experience with skill in foreseeing potential problems before they occur and executing appropriate courses of actionExperience with IT infrastructure design and deployment 5+ years experience in project/operational management 5+ years experience in the IT service industry

Pluses Experience with SOX compliance and change managementForeign language skills--French or Korean
