Event Planning Responsibilities:Plan and host approximately 10 large events (seminars, trips, parties) and 50 small events (concerts, football games, barbeques, etc.) per year for Alliant clients, partners, and internal employeesManage vendor negotiations (hotels, restaurants, etc.)Make arrangements for travel, food/beverage, entertainment, etc.Create themes, invitations, etc.Manage customers through the event, connecting Alliant employees and management to the right people. Manage event budgetsObtain JMF (Joint Marketing Funds) from Partners to off-set event costsTrack event attendance in Salesforce.com CRM system

 Corporate Communications Responsibilities:Schedule and host Sales Training and Engineering Training, both internal and Partner-ledInternal employee communications (monthly newsletter)Customer communications (bi-monthly newsletter)



Job Requirements:Organized and detail-orientedOutgoing and people-friendlyAble to network and connect with customers and partnersProfessional appearance and demeanor Ability to travel 10% (typically across Northeast)Proficiency with standard office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) requiredProficiency with Salesforce.com, Adobe Illustrator, PhotoShop and Dreamweaver very helpful



Job Location: Morristown, NJ

Experience: 0-2 years in marketing or sales (preferably in technology sector)

Salary Range: $40,000 - $45,000, commensurate with experience
