Our Network Services department provides a wide range of services from installing and maintaining desktop PCs and servers, to installing and maintaining switches, routers and firewalls.  We are currently seeking an Associate Network Analyst.

 

The individual selected:

 Will have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a medium to large enterprise environment.Must have experience in the installation of software and server operating systems.  Must have a thorough knowledge of PC hardware and operating systems.  Will be able to diagnose and fix problems on client PC hardware and software.  Must have general knowledge of server hardware and software, including Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Server.  Some knowledge of Linux or Novell would be helpful.Must show initiative and be able to deliver exceptional customer service.Must be able to work independently. Must be able to work as a team member as well.Must be able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

 

The service performed includes:Diagnosing, troubleshooting and upgrading existing operational environment consisting of workstations and associated file and print servers.Providing technical support and troubleshooting for network related problems, including cabling and switching.Coordinating the installation of the backbone wiring for the LAN/WAN connectivity.Providing desktop/workstation support for REJIS employees and clients.Assist in performing preventative maintenance on REJIS network equipment.Conducting pre-installation site visits to determine necessary materials or special requirements needed for installation, and helping with testing and configuring network equipment prior to installation.Maintaining inventory of REJIS and client network equipment; updating equipment inventory system to reflect any equipment additions, deletions or moves.Visiting client agencies to conduct preventive maintenance on network equipment; checking for actual or potential environmental hazards to the equipment; documenting client complaints regarding system performance; and resolving problems promptly.Assisting with installs of network systems; assisting in the installation of servers; and transferring existing devices from one client site to another as needed.
