Associate Sales Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Entry level position within the Sale Operations (Ops) department.  Part of the Sale Ops resource pool available to Sales Production team members to assist with defined administrative and support tasks.  Expected to become proficient with Sales Ops areas of focus:

· AT&T Support (pre-sale, provisioning, lifecycle management, operational issues)

· AlliantWare Product Order Management

· RFP Response Support

· SOW Development Support

· Pre-sale Support

· Sales Ops Tools Development & Management

o  Sharepoint Portal (Sales area)

o  CRM/SFA package selection / deployment

o  Funnel report management

 

Pool resource available to all sales team members upon request and availability.  This position is a mixture of back office support and onsite client meetings.  Expected to help Sales Production increase revenue production and improve service delivery within the Sales organization. Work under the direction of the Sales Ops Manager.

AT&T price quotes

AT&T ordering assistance

Client AT&T account management assistance

AlliantWare Product Partners – pricing and ordering assistance

Assistance with responding to RFPs

Assistance with administering Sales Ops Tools/Systems

Understand Partner programs and promos

Earn identified AT&T & Cisco certifications

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

 

Work Experience

Previous sales or sales support experience preferable

Previous telecommunications experience preferable

Previous experience working at a technology based company preferable

 

Technical Skills

Working knowledge of common PC applications (Word, Excel, email, Internet access)

Good organizational skills; ability to multi-task.

 

Communication

Good verbal and written skills.  Will be expected to communicate with sales team members, business partners, and Alliant Sales Management via phone, email, and face-to-face conversations on a daily basis.

 

Certifications

None (will work towards identified AT&T & Cisco certs)
