Audio Video Technician

RES Exhibits, a premier provider of full-service custom exhibit solutions for the trade show industry, is seeking an Audio Video Technician to join our team. 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Work closely with design team to create and test content on equipment. Help author DVD’s for shows and make duplicate copies.Must prep equipment for show installation (testing equipment, labeling wires, working with CAD team on creating layouts for show books,).

o  Test equipment setup solution.

o  Label wires.

o  Work with CAD team on layouts for show book.

o  Work with Shop on mounting brackets to panels or stands when applicable.

o  Pack in a secure fashion to ensure safe transportation.Must Receive jobs when they return from show.

o  Check equipment for damage.

o  Remove any client products from equipment.

o  Clean any tape or Velcro off of screens.

o  Verify the correct cables and remotes are in box.

o  Place equipment back in inventory. Maintain inventory counts, verify correct asset labeling of all equipment.  Confirm that latest firmware, updates and software is on all equipment. Program LED lights for shows. Work with Warehouse on prep and pack of Truss motors.Some travel will be required when the traveling AV Road Supervisor is unavailable.Ability to work in a face paced, deadline driven environment.  Minimum of two years job-related experience.Must have a minimum of High School Diploma/GED.
