BUSINESS ANALYST -International Dial Code Analyst

The global numbering project is to analyze individual country dialing codes (+44 7881 = UK Vodafone)and ensure that our Enterprise Client has a common code list across all 3 regions (US, Europe and Asia-Pac). Each region has over 60,000 dial codes. These codes need to be analyzed to determine a single dial code list for our Enterprise Client.

Candidates will be required to analyze and research codes for their validity. Once code analysis (phase 1) is complete the project intends to ensure that all downstream IT systems are updated with these new dial codes. This will require working in a global virtual team to understand each regions requirements and constraints.
1.Responsible for the comparison of numerical dial code data for specific countries.
2.Investigate and document all differences between the regional plans.
3.Investigate and document all dial codes information sources (Telecom Regulators, Supplier Information, Competitor Information etc).
4.Provide a weekly progress of all numbering plan updates.
5.Work within a global team and provide solutions within set timescales.
6.Document all source data onto a central database.
Reports/Key Deliverables
Daily update of dial codes into the global dial code database. Weekly update of dial codes analysis/issue. Track dial code change completions within the switch. Metrics reporting. Maintain naming convention change spreadsheet for auto up load. Prepare US country summary package. Action items for Code Committee team call/Development IT/systems team call. Provide Discrepancy reports format communication to GVP/INE. Maintain Blocked/Invalid lists
Following skills required: - Work to set goals and objectives. - Attention to detail essential. - Ability to manipulate large amounts of data (MS Excel MS Access).- Ability to make informed logical decisions. - Ability to resolve internal disputes in a logical manner. - MS Excel expertise critical to project deliverables.

Highly proficient in EXCEL.
