Back Office Tech
Summary:
Coordinate your activities within Back Office in order to meet deadlines and fulfill client expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Spot check projects/boxes which flow from Production. Check for numbering or image errors/anomaliesModify/manipulate data to fill a variety of functions…blowbacks, load file creation, PDF-to-Tiff extraction, etc.Produce client discs based on project specifications in Project DesignConvert/repair other vendor load files into Encore standard buildsProcess OCR and image branding through Job ProcessorResearch/resolve image compression issuesHave a thorough understanding of Encore standard page-level and doc-level filesUnderstand ‘search-and-replace’ criteriaMUST BE DETAIL ORIENTED, VERY ORGANIZED

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Must have strong working knowledge of basic PC functions and Windows environment. Able to troubleshoot system and network errors on occasion.
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
-Work within Excel (delimit a file, copy/paste, create batch files, sort)
-Able to understand database concepts or basic knowledge of Access
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Schedule/Availability:
This position at times may need to cover both Saturday and Sunday with the remaining days to be worked during the week. Due to working the weekend the remaining work days can be of employee’s choice and could be set up as four, ten hour days vs. a normal five day work week.
