Black/Gray Box Tester

**PLEASE NOTE:  This position does not allow us to work with Corp to Corp or Third Party candidates.  W2 ONLY please.  Q Analysts is searching for a black/gray box tester for its client in downtown Seattle.  This is a Contract to HIRE position, and candidates should be willing to convert to FTE status with our client after contract assignment has been met.   As a tester for our client you will work closely  with the development teams to test web-based customer care applications and infrastructure to ensure quality releases. The team focuses on exploratory and ad-hoc testing in a session-based testing format. The right candidate will have:3+ years experience in testing Web-based application testing experience Ability to read Java code (this is not a developer position, however you must be able to read Java code). Ability to write SQL queries against the Oracle database Ability to write some shell scripts (including fairly sophisticated join statements) Perl scripting experience is a plus Telephony/telecommunications background is a plusQualified candidates can forward their Word formatted resume to jchamberlin@qanalysts.com
