TECHNICAL WRITER / BUSINESS ANALYSTSummary: Work with business users and team leaders to develop Problem Management / Request Management processes and procedures in order to minimize adverse impact on incidents and problems on the businessRoles & Responsibilities: Define detailed work instructions and process flows Create standard operating procedures Work with customer to define key requirements Document detailed business and functional requirements Analyze existing document content from an ITIL perspective and assemble it into a client facing document. This involves procedures and policies such as: Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Release Management, Configuration Management Create requirement, work instruction, and process documentation Acquire information from stakeholders/team leaders and incorporate it into appropriate docs Ensure documents are organized and structured consistently (edit documentation for style, spelling, grammar, and standards) Plan and support the creation and deployment of Training documentation and CBTs to users teams Create and socialize communications to users and stakeholders Provide accurate reporting of status, issues, and risks to project and program managementRequired Skills: ITIL Foundation Certified Knowledge of ITIL policy framework Experience with HP Service Center A minimum of 3-5 years IT enterprise level service management experience Understanding Service and Operating Levels Strong interpersonal communication (written and verbal) Management skills for structures and procedures for service delivery Expert Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint) Specialized pharmaceutical industry experience HIGHLY PREFFEREDGeneral Function: Analyzes models and optimizes business processes and data flows. Builds business process models, data flow diagrams, and entity relationship diagrams Gathers requirements for systems and applications, develops business requirements and technical specifications. Facilitates workshops. Develops business strategies and performs business processes reorganization. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Capable of performing effectively in a team, or alone and unsupervised. Communicates effectively with team members and management.
