We believe that our employees are our best asset and still hold true to the core values of our humble beginnings that has made us a true success.Primary Function The Business Analyst will support application user requirements by compiling, organizing and carrying out tasks and projects designed to fulfill user needs. This position will interact directly with the business users and coordinate the processes required to resolve business requirements utilizing the tools of the Information Technology department. Key Responsibilities • Gathering data related business requirements from the Business Applications Manager as well as through regular direct contact with application users. • Translating business requirements into written specifications and action plans • Development and maintenance of process documentation • Analysis of business functions and application software as required • Development and maintenance of methodologies for maintaining regular communications with application users and Management • Other duties as assigned.Professional Skills • Excellent analytical skills • Very strong understanding of business applications, specifically ERP software • Understanding of Relational Database concepts. • Excellent communication skills • Very strong capacity to understand and analyze business requirements Ability to meet delivery deadlines to support critical business decisions • Ability to manage simultaneous tasks • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills Experience • BS or equivalent work experience. • 2+ years experience performing business analysis • Experience in a complex, large scale, distributed technology environment • ERP systems (Trend/SX.enterprise), RDBMS (Progress/SQL 2000), BI Software (Cognos), MS Office • UNIX, Windows • Relevant experience in a wholesale distribution company preferredFor quick consideration apply here
