We’ll help you take your career to the next level.Due to our explosive growth, we are actively seeking a Business Analyst III for our client in Cleveland, Ohio. This candidate will be involved with Requirements Gathering/Validation, Formulating test plans, prepare/utilize test scripts.

 

Primary Responsibilities: Consults with the Line of Business (LOB) to analyze and solve business problems by facilitating and leading others through requirements analysis.  Proactively gathers and assimilates large volumes of complex business information to be utilized by the development/project team.  Leads the requirements engineering strategy for multiple concurrent large projects ranging in size from $1 million to $10 million within a segment.  Mentors and coaches Business Analyst I or II in analysis strategies and techniques, requirements definition, workflow process modeling, or other skills as appropriate. Consistently demonstrates expert knowledge in the processes, standards, methodologies, and tools employed in completing analysis activities.  Completes all assigned tasks on time and within budget and quality standards.   Leads the efforts within a project to ensure that technology recommendations are consistent with business requirements and client objectives.  Owns and manages the business and functional requirements throughout the project life cycle.  Applies a broad range of technology disciplines for planning and analysis of solution recommendations across complex business processes.  Demonstrates expert analytical skills, flexibility, and the ability to quickly understand business issues and develop detailed recommendations.  Effectively delivers core requirements engineering training to Business Analyst team and other IS Partners.  Consistently exhibits corporate values and operating principles

 

Position Requirements: Bachelors Degree 5 or more years of experience in all phases of system development and package implementation – particularly analysis and design. Experience with requirements engineering and development of analysis models. Ability to review and quickly understand business processes and flow. Ability to understand impacts that new systems will cause to current processes. Ability to translate detailed business requirements and application functionality into detailed test cases/scenarios. Experience in scripting and executing tests for undocumented data integration. Strong prioritization, organization, and time management skills.  Ability to track information appearing on a report back to the data origin to confirm accuracy and completeness. Ability to work directly with end users helping them to understand application functionality and to effectively test that functionality. Ability to quantify defects (perform gap analysis) Ability to work fairly independently but within an aggressive timeline. Strong communication skills effectively communicate with various audiences Strong documentation skills and MS Office skills
