Business Analyst - Sales and Marketing

Our Birmingham client is seeking a talented senior level Business Analyst to support their sales and marketing division in meeting their strategic objectives by developing a better understanding of their business processes.  The Business Analyst works very closely with business users, software vendors, and information technology. Responsibilities include working with end users to define requirements and specifications for new and existing applications used to meet business objectives.  Candidate must demonstrate a thorough understanding of the business and a willingness to learn and understand business processes, provide input for improvement and communicate to stakeholders throughout.  Furthermore, the candidate must be able to participate in RFP's in selection of software products and be able to provide data to support business case development for IT projects in general.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or Business Administration.  In addition, 5+ years experience is required in sales force automation, contract management, and/or business intelligence.  General knowledge of IT technologies, including Web and ERP is required.
