Incumbents may specialize in either IT Business Integration Analysis or Systems Analysis. Business Integration Analysis - with full competency, translates business architecture through the elicitation and definition of functional requirements. Understands and translates the business strategy, business goals, and business processes into an IT solution. Systems Analysis - with full competency, performs the specification and analysis of functional, nonfunctional, and information requirements in order to develop the specifications of an IT solution. REQUIRED SKILLS  Demonstrated ability to understand business objectives and IT delivery capabilities to provide fully integrated solutions. Demonstrated analytical ability to understand functional requirements and determine their impact to business objectives. Demonstrated ability to identify and highlight deviations between current and to-be states and effectively communicate them to the primary stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work with a project manager to put together project plans, work breakdown structures and deliverables for overall solution delivery. Demonstrated ability to define the capabilities that an IT Solution must perform in support of the user's needs. Demonstrated ability to manage requirements volatility, integrity and continuity via change management and reprioritization. Demonstrated ability to use structured and disciplined approaches to solving technical problems. Six years of experience in a related IT profession, including two years of experience in Solutions Analysis. Undergraduate studies in computer science management information systems, business administration, insurance or related field is preferred.
