Business Analyst-Treasurer's Office

The Boulder County Treasurer’s Office is seeking a Business Analyst to assist the staff in daily operations. The daily business of the Treasurer’s Office is to collect taxes for the County, to manage money for several other departments, and to disperse the taxes promptly and equitably. As Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of a small, highly efficient office dedicated to providing the “Best in Public Service.”  Duties will include:  generating SQL Reports (this could be about 75% of your daily duties); creating Excel macros; helping maintain and install PC software in collaboration with the County’s IT Department; maintaining the Oracle (someday SQL Server) database of Boulder County Property; formatting data for Web publication; formatting incoming and outgoing data for banks, mortgage companies, and other customers; and performing other related duties as required. 

 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Services, Computer Science or a related field and four years of experience as a project manager or a business analyst.  Must be familiar with SQL, ORACLE, database design and administration, .NET Framework and Microsoft Office (to include Excel). Experience with .NET a plus.  Must be able to support multiple projects simultaneously.  Must demonstrate strong communication and documentation skills.  A commitment to customer service is crucial.  The successful candidate will demonstrate superb customer service skills while working with Boulder County citizens, the Treasurer’s Team as well as personnel from other Boulder County departments.
