Business Analyst - contract

Company located in Golden, Colorado is seeking a Business System Analyst for a contract position.  This position will work alone with regard to the business analyst and project management duties, but will interface with SMEs, project sponsors and technical personnel on a regular basis.  Responsibilities will include (1) analyzing current state; (2) researching alternatives; (3) developing technical solutions; (4) making recommendations based on analysis; (5) creating business requirements and assisting with technical requirements; (6) managing projects; (7) participating in quality assurance.  Projects could include developing technical solutions from scratch or recommending the purchase of COTS solutions.

REQUIRED:
1) Experience as a business/technical liaison
2) Strong project management experience (schedules, budgeting, resource management)
3) Business process improvement experience
