Minimum of 7+ years experience in analysis and design of commercial vehicle electronics systems. 5+ years of lead experience supervising others in performing above functions and 2+ years lead experience supervising off-site and/or off-shore consultants. Must have extensive experience with Windows client and web-enabled application development, product design and implementation in a mixed environment (UNIX, Windows, mainframe IMS system platforms). Must also have hands-on expertise with propriety vehicle electronic control units (ECU), control area networks (CAN), vehicle network protocols (J1939, J1708, J1587), data buses, channels and real time controls. Full product lifecycle experience (requirements definition, design, development, test, deployment, support) for both internally developed and vendor provided software solutions required. In-depth understanding of ECU programming, configuration, data visualization and diagnostic support also required. Architectural and design oversight and user interface design and programming experience highly preferred.

Must have experience developing test plans, building test data and testing new or enhanced application functions. Must also have experience with system integration across multiple platforms. Strong background in systems analysis and design and ability to thrive in a non-structured environment with complex and competing objectives required. Ability to quickly assimilate and communicate complex systems integration processes and issues to both technical and non-technical audiences also required. 2 years experience developing/supporting transaction based websites in one or more of these areas: e-Commerce, customization, user driven content, interactive or self service sites strongly preferred.
