Candidates will be integrated into the North American Public Sector Business Development (BD) community to learn the various phases of BD expertise: marketing, market research, capture management, proposal development and operational new business.Essential Job Functions Participate in the business development cycle including opportunity qualification and capture management Identify new target areas and business opportunities to increase company profits and business interests. Maintain communication with current clients to ensure customer satisfaction and facilitate future opportunities. May serve as an initial point of contact for future clients to determine potential business opportunities. Build and maintain personal networks with internal and external clients, including contemporaries, vendors, clients, colleagues, and industry leaders to maintain business relationships and scope out additional opportunities. Distribute leads to business developers to ensure potential opportunities are researched in a timely manner.
