JOB CATEGORY: Sales/Retail/Business Development RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ to 5 Years EDUCATION LEVEL: Bachelor's Degree COMPANY: General Mills Business Development and Analysis Consultant OverviewThis is a broad-based, multi-dimensional assignment supporting business initiatives within the Foodservice Distributor segment.  The main focus will be to operate as a key liaison and consultant between the business and both internal and external technical resources needed to support the FS Distributor Business Plan. Accountabilities Provide business analysis, system design, consultation and testing in the development of business analytical tools and system applications for the Foodservice Distributor Segment, including:-  FS Distributor Customer Trade Applications-  FS Distributor CRM and Planning Applications-  FS Distributor Web Environment-  FS Distributor Customer & Market Business Review Tools Provide business/analytical support for various managerial levels throughout the FS Distributor Segment, such as Ad Hoc, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual analytics at the Division, Segment, and Customer level for Sales Directors, Finance Team, VP/General Manager, Channel Marketing Managers, and Sales Managers Provide ongoing analytics to the organization regarding new items, contract compliance initiatives, customer void initiatives and focused customer-specific initiatives. Develop and assist with the implementation of  business process, business system and analytical improvements throughout the FS Distributor business segment Lead the project to obtain and leverage direct operator purchase information for the purposes of driving incremental volume and providing related promotional analysis. Assist with the development and execution of the FS Distributor Technology strategy. Provide training and consultation on the business implementation of analytical tools and business systems at HQ and in the field. Qualifications:· Bachelors Degree· Minimum of 4 years experience in a business setting with preference given for work in IT, Sales or Brands on the Go· Strong computer skills with proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Access, BEx, and Business Objects as well as experience working with IT resources to develop systems Competencies:· Strong project management, critical thinking, and communication skills· Demonstrated business analytical and problem solving skills · Self-starter with the demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team environment· Strong Organizational & Planning skills with the ability to multi-task
