Business Intelligence Developer

 The Business Intelligence Developer designs, implements and supports business intelligence and data warehouse projects. This candidate will assume responsibility for development and implementation of BI-related projects and initiatives and the associated production support as required by clients.  This position requires technical skills plus creative talents to design, develop and support custom BI dashboards and reporting solutions.

 

Key Accountabilities: Installation, configuration and support of Business Intelligence toolsDevelop business requirements for Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects Design, implement, maintain VB scriptsDesign, implement, maintain SQL logicDesign, develop and implement OLAP structures

 

Skills and Experience Required:  1 to 3 years experience with Relational Databases1 to 3 years of VB Script and/or other scripting/programming language(s)User Interface and Visual Design SkillsDimensional Data modeling experienceOLAP cube developmentCoding and queries utilizing SQL and PL/SQLMin. 3 years experience in Data warehouse and Business Intelligence design, development, concepts, applications and implementations

· Experience participating in the architecture process and peer reviews.

· Experience participating in end user and technical requirement sessions Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree

 

Experience Desired:Experience with Oracle BI, Business Objects,  Microsoft SSRS, SSAS or QlikViewExperience with OWB, Informatica or DataStage a plusHTMLASPAJAXJava ScriptWeb design/programming skills
