Business Intelligence Planning Consultant

LiveLogic is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant who has an entrepreneurial spirit and wants a challenging and enjoyable career. As a BI Consultant for LiveLogic, your day may include the following responsibilities: Work within project teams to design and develop BI solutions, including integration with databases and data warehouses, for our valued customers Interact with clients (up to C-level) to establish solution requirements Create application design specifications using industry best practices, LiveLogic methodology, and/or client required techniques Work with clients and team members to foster good communication throughout the project lifecycle Keep current with BI technologies and new technologies in general Work closely with your LiveLogic supervisor to set professional goals and work to reach those goals


We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications: Bachelor’s degree Approximately three years experience in computer programming Background in BI, Data Warehousing, data conversion, or a related field Planning/Budgeting software implementation skills and experience Finance and Accounting skills Consulting experience Ability to gather and understand business requirements and translate into IT solutions Ability to deal with complex situations and collaborate effectively with local and/or remote personnel in order to provide fast and effective problem resolutions Organized, detail oriented and have strong problem solving skills Strong interpersonal and written communication skills Self motivated with a strong aptitude to learn


Ideal skills above and beyond the required qualifications: Background in the Microsoft BI platform Strong SQL programming skills Approximately four to eight years post-collegiate experience Effective management and leadership experience
