Business Java Developer (JR and SR level positions available) Location: Tyson’s Corner, VAClearance/Citizenship Requirements: - Candidate must meet security clearance requirements for Client. - U.S. Citizenship is required. - Client requires that for the three (3) years prior to the filing of an application for employment, individuals must meet the one or more of the following primary residence criteria: (a) the applicant resided in the United States (short trips abroad, such as vacations, will not necessarily disqualify an applicant); or (b) the applicant worked for the U.S. Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or military capacity; or (c) the applicant was a dependent of a U.S. Federal or military employee serving overseas.Responsibilities & Duties: The candidate will be responsible for the analysis of business, engineering, and scientific problems, and the documentation and development of well-defined methods, procedures, and programs in the delivery of practical systems solutions. Should have experience with hands-on Java development. This includes detailed software design, developing code to implement the design, debug, and unit test, and integrating the applications.Min Education: Bachelors Min Experience: 3 YearsPreferred candidates will possess all of the skills listed below: - 3-5 years experience with JAVA, J2EE, and preferably using WebSphere Application Server. - Design and development experience using Rational tools (WSAD, RAD) or Eclipse. - Database programming using SQL and JDBC with DB2 or Oracle - Experience with OOAD and UML to develop and document design artifacts. - Able to translate high-level system requirements into detailed requirements and to formulate a design that satisfies those requirements. - Able to communicate clearly end effectively both orally and in writing
