Business Objects Administrator

Consultant will be required to provide end user support, perform tool implementations and upgrades, provide accurate and timely problem resolution with root cause analysis, work with other areas of the organization, the development community, and other technical groups to establish and improve processes and procedures related to the Business Intelligence and ETL infrastructure. Willingness to rotate 24x7 on call duties is essential. Consultant should also have excellent customer services skills and a strong willingness to learn new technologies.

Job Description will include software installations and architecture, software upgrades, service packs and hot fixes, application maintenance, performance issues with Business Objects and Crystal such as tuning, adding and removing users, access and privileges.  Also, publishing Crystal reports from development to production, publishing universes from development to production, suggestions to create better report design, taking care of report failures, troubleshooting issues with full client and web based tools as well as issues based on the server installation.Required skills are an understanding of Business Intelligence concepts, Windows and Unix technologies, scripting experience in Shell, Perl, or VB, Apache Tomcat, and MS BI Suite experience using SQL Server 2005 including ProClarity, Analysis Service, and Reporting Services
