Business Systems Analyst / Project Manager

 


Join a the Leader Internet solution services as a Senior Business Analyst.  You will be responsible working with internal clients on putting new systems, applications, and processes in place.  The company is experience explosive growth (50%) and needs your help taking the company to the next level.  There is very little formal processes and systems in place now and you will play a key role in implementing systems and process.  You must be ready to dive into and thrive in a very fast paced environment that is currently unstructured and lacking processes. Ideally you you will have "Big 4" experience.  You must be a professional, experienced business person with excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional team building skills. You will  develop and maintain knowledge of  current products, processes, infrastructure and resources.  Also you will develop, implement and manage systems implementation projects and activities including: 1)Scope, research, plan and design processes and process improvement across functional groups. 2) Propose automated and manual changes to process in order to maximize efficiency and effectivenesss. 3) Estimate project return on investment. 4) Recommend alternative solution sets and relative cost/benefits of the options. 5) Plan project activities, timing, deliverables and responsibilities focusing on the most cost effective and time-efficient means of achieving objectives. 6) Build, distribute and evaluate technology RFP's as appropriate. 7) Source and manage custom development as required.  8) Work with internal and external partners to scope needs and set expectations of each project. 9) Provide primary communication point and progress reporting with internal and external partners simultaneously on multiple projects. 10)  Establish appropriate testing and acceptance programs to ensure project expectations and deliverables meet project specifications.


Required Skills:


4+ years as a Business Analyst 


Experience in managing custom and off-the-shelf software integration and implementation projects


Ability to manage projects and see the "Big Picture" and understand the "Business"


Experience with both small and large companies


Significant experience in process analysis and improvement projects including integration and streamlining of manual and automated workflows


Working knowledge of the Internet technologies for web-based applications.


Definition and implementation of software development lifecycles


Excellent communication (written & verbal)
