Mutual of Omaha is looking to fill immediate Business Systems Analyst(014321) openings due to significant growth in our core product lines of Group Insurance and Individual Medicare Supplement. These openings are available in Group Insurance Electronic Enrollment, Group Insurance Group Load, Group Insurance Sales Application Support, and Individual Claims Support teams.
Accountabilities:Complete business requirements and help customer to understand their business needsDevelop thorough test plans and project requests that ensure desired functionality Prepare timely, customer focused (internal & external) communications that are grammatically correct and clear Meet agreed upon timelines and quality measures Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation in all project initiatives and production support activities Display behaviors of integrity, responsiveness, and professionalism Additional Accountabilities: Group Insurance Electronic Enrollment
Superior Customer Service skills to support daily interactions with external clients, brokers, and third party administrators Thorough understanding of employer group insurance enrollment processes Define enrollment requirements on a per employer basis for new electronic enrollment interfaces Define aggressive implementation timelines for new enrollment interfaces which include testing and initial installation target dates Support existing enrollment interfaces by handling error conditions and responding to customer inquiries timely Individual Claims SupportUnderstand general processes involved in processing health insurance claims Be able to define project requirements, build quality test plans, and execute them within required timelines Be accountable for your actions and understand that commitments need to be delivered on timeGroup Load Superior Customer Service skills to support daily interaction with internal customers to resolve system issues with the plan, billing, or group information Be accountable for your actions and understand the need for very timely and quality work Ability to analyze more complex Group Data Report (GDR) information, underwriting instructions and other data to determine the intent of coverage requested for New and existing Groups.
Group Sales Application (GSAP) Support TeamSuperior Customer Service skills to support daily help desk interactions with Home Office and Field Office associates Understanding of employer Group Insurance proposal and sold case processes Ability to define project requirements, build quality test plans, and execute them within required timelines Flexibility in work hours in support of the GSAP Help Desk Ability to provide excellent customer service Strong oral and written communications, human relations, and presentation skills Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities Creativity, diplomacy, and sound judgment Ability to meet stringent deadlines and multi-task while adhering to multiple timetables of completion Self motivated team player with vision and initiative Strong knowledge of administrative systems and applications Experience with testing tools in a business environment Experience with PC based office tools, such as Microsoft Office with a demonstrated proficiency in Excel Ability to travel and flexibility with scheduled hours for the specific GSAP positions
