The primary purpose of this position is to ensure contracts and billings policies are enforced and communicated, to resolve /escalate key operational issues & to execute tactical operations functions with regard to US Services Contracts and Billing activities. This position can be located in any of several office locations in the U.S.
In this exciting position you will, in part:
- Have accountability for Practices Contracts & Billing
- Work as a support resource to the Program Manager in all process areas
- Provide business management support (special reporting as needed)
- Review data in internal enterprise applications
- Keep the team and Operations Manager up-to-date on all issues and proactively communicate to all
- Participate actively in all-hands and other larger group meetings with Contracts and Billing leadership
- Demonstrate Microsoft values daily in all settings, particularly self-criticality, perseverance and innovation while maintaining a positive, teaming demeanor
- Review data and analysis for recurring compliance audits and for Tier 1 and Tier 2 scorecard metrics.
- Work with management on root-cause issues, collaborating with other Operations Managers to ensure resolutions are persistent
The Contracts & Billing Coordinators understand the business and strategies in interdependent areas and apply this knowledge to making good business decisions. In addition, they increase the revenue opportunities, execute contracts and billing functions for a group, ensure contracts and billings policies are enforced and communicated for multiple groups, and resolve/escalate key operational issues and ensure process measures are in place, reported timely, and are adequate.
Requirements:
BA/BS degree preferred, in accounting, finance or business law, or equivalent work experience (four years minimum in addition to work experience noted above). May have two year degree or equivalent college credits, combined with additional two years work experience.
Some travel may be required.
