CA Spectrum/eHealth Engineer
CIBER IT Operations has an immediate opening for a CA Spectrum/eHealth Engineer based in the Edison, NJ area. Successful applicant must have minimum of three years of technical experience with the CA Spectrum and eHealth product suites. The qualified applicants must also be proficient with the entire technology stack supporting CA Spectrum and eHealth including MySQL, Oracle, Tomcat, Sun Cluster technology, network connectivity and basic server hardware issues. The individual should also have strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively with clients, co-workers and other infrastructure staff members. Individual(s) should be motivated and self-directing with excellent diagnostic ability, interpersonal and communication skills and focused on delivering excellent customer service. For consideration candidate must have the following: - Minimum of 3 years of IT experience working in a dynamic environment.- Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting CA Spectrum 8.x and CA eHealth 5.x/6.x- Minimum of 1 year of experience customizing CA Spectrum and CA eHealth (OneClick, Reports, etc.)- Thorough understanding of SNMPv1, SNMPv2, and SNMPv3 including SNMP security, SNMP polling, and SNMP trap reception- Thorough understanding of RMON/RMON2 and Netflow- Understanding of networking technologies including the ability to articulate and explain the OSI model, switches, bridges, routers, hubs, firewalls, load balancers, WAN technologies (including point-to-point circuits, frame relay, ATM, LAN, MPLS, and VPN), and LAN technologies, and routing protocols (IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)- Must be able to minimize downtime by rapidly diagnosing and resolving problems.- Ability to learn and maintain a high level of knowledge of the internal computing environment- Must demonstrate strong sense of urgency regarding solving end-user issues- Must have excellent Customer Service skills- Have excellent telephone, listening and communication skills- Be able to answer questions regarding system errors or usage instruction- Be able to track and document information regarding client calls using call tracking database- Maintain a high level of teamwork and communication- Ability and willingness to work overtime/after hours as needed Additional desired skills include the following: - Experience with related Network and Systems Management products (Unicenter NSM, eG, MOM)- Experience with Business Objects, CrystalReports, and/or Cognos- Experience with integrating Spectrum and eHealth with CA Unicenter ServiceDesk, CA Unicenter NSM, and other tools.- Experience with Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, and/or LinuxEstablished ITIL Foundation Skills (certification preferred) CIBER, Inc.
