Selection Criteria

Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast paced production environment is a must.

The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years experience using the following skills:

· Prior experience with CAFM applications (Archibus, Trirega, FM:Space, etc.) is a must

· Excellent drafting skills using AutoCAD version 2002 and above

· Experience/background in facilities management and space planning,

· Ability to interpret and transfer to CAD hardcopy architectural construction as-built drawings,

· Experience in building surveying techniques using state-of-the-art measuring tools,

· Experience with field measurements and/or verification of pre-survey plans

· Familiarity with database concepts and design,

· Experience with polylining drawings to ANSI/BOMA standards,

· Experience desirable with Windows XP and systems integration,

· Experience using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel Access, and Powerpoint

· The ability to successfully pass a government background investigation including good credit history.



Qualified candidate must also possess thoroughness and attention to detail, be proficient in conducting a study of end user requirements, technology audits, and business process analysis, experience with management of the Space Survey & Validation process in large commercial projects. Successful candidate must also demonstrate ability to successfully interact with customers.

Education:

BS degree (or 10 years combined education and experience)

Job Description

The position is for Senior CAFM (Computer Aided Facility Management) Software Technology Specialist and Database Analyst, to provide support for building drawing maintenance and validation for Spatial Data Management program. The position requires expertise in the architectural engineering processes, using industry-standard ANSI/BOMA guidelines and GSA certified CAD and Space Assignment policies.
