CISCO Security Engineer   Houston, TX GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to provide configuration, support and maintenance to ensure continuous availability of secured network services to both internal and external global customers (upstream and downstream).  SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. Minimum 10+ year’s paid-experience administering network security in cross platform system environments. Knowledge and experience configuring several different brands of Cisco firewall, routers, VPN and switches (prefer 6500’s w/FWSM, ASA 550x, 7600, 7200, 3600, 3500, 3030, 2900 series) Knowledge of and a minimum 5 years experience in planning, deployment, and maintenance of firewall, proxy, gateway and IDS technologies. Knowledge and experience in deployment and maintenance of large scale wireless networks and wireless network security.
