Clinical Systems Project Manager

 

The Brooklyn Hospital Center, a member of the NewYork–Presbyterian Healthcare System, and affiliate of the Weill School of Medicine of Cornell University, is a prestigious teaching hospital dedicated to providing outstanding acute care in a state-of-the-art delivery environment. We are seeking an dynamic, experienced individual to join our multi-disciplinary team.

 

The specific requisites for this position are as follows:

 At least 2 years implementing large clinical systems, preferably Eclipsys XAAt least 2 years experience in process flow and improvement working in a large clinical system implementation projectAt least 2 years facilitating multi-disciplinary clinical teams in system design, issues management, and change managementKnowledge of Microsoft ProjectBachelor’s degree in nursing/medical informatics preferred

 

Additionally, the successful candidate should have demonstrated expertise in implementing health care information systems, a thorough understanding of facility process flow improvements, and effective communication skills –vital to this position. The position requires that the candidate  be responsible for issue management, change management, and for obtaining any approvals from a relevant authority, which may be necessary for the implementation of Sunrise Clinical Manager within the organization.
