CNC Programmer/ Digitizer

This position requires entering numbers into a computer, sorting paperwork by description and size, making production notes, printing labels, distribution of paperwork to production. This position also requires individual to read and understand drawings and sketches and incorporate this information on to a software program used in fabrication.
Requires also to place orders for materials and interact with customers for production planning and trouble shooting.

Prerequisites:
Accurate data entry skills, strong numerical skills and good math aptitude to include; fractions and decimals. Must be familiar with inches as a unit of measure. Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently.

Physical Functions:
This position requires a person to be able to enter data on to a computer. It will require sitting for up to four hours or longer. It might require individual to lift a piece of glass weighing up to 50 pounds.

Mental Functions:
Mental endurance is required due to accelerated pace if the activities that are required in order to meet customer demands and delivery schedule.
