COMM (ROC) - Service Delivery Manager COMM (ROC) - Service Delivery Manager CGI has recently opened a Rochester Delivery Center and is looking for a strong service delivery manager to help run it's daily operations. The delivery center will create work products for multiple clients across CGI's NY-NJ Business Unit. Projects will range from application development and support to manual and automated testing activities.The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for all activities performed on work products created at the center. These activities will include but are not limited to:• Managing Staff• Recruiting Staff• Implementing CGI frameworks and methodologies across projects• Maintaining and ensuring quality of deliverables• Establishing a balanced workload throughout the center• Supporting business development activities to achieve growth in the NY-NJ Business UnitThe candidate must have the following skills and experiences:• Minimum of 5 years managing IT projects• Minimum of 3 years managing staff• Strong communication skills including the ability to present to large groups of people• Ability to manage profit and loss• Understanding of the value proposition behind global delivery• Technical background; experience with application development languages like JAVA, .Net, and databasesThe candidate must have the ability and be willing to travel 25% to 50% of the time to various client locations, these are primarily across the NY / NJ region.
