Job Category:Compensation Sr Professional Primary Location:USA-CA: CALIFORNIA-EL SEGUNDOSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 02/05/2008Description: CSC's Corporate Compensation Department in El Segundo, CA is searching for a Compensation SR Professional!This position will develop process steps and calendar for the Executive compensation planning process; overall management of Executive Compensation Database and other systems; management, oversight and accurate administration of specific executive compensation programs to include: annual salary planning, AMIP bonus programs, Deferred Compensation, Stock Options and communication materials; and participate in job evaluation and classification projects and provide corporate guidance. In addition, the candidate will coordinate related activities with payroll, service center, benefits accounting, and legal areas; support ongoing compensation activities for the Corporate office; assist Compensation Director with formulation and development of CSC global compensation strategies and policies; global compensation planning and program development. Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, industrial relations, liberal arts or equivalent. Certification in Compensation or Human Resources Desired. Six or more years of compensation experience or equivalent. Human Resources academic exposure valuable. Member of a professional HR organization such as World at Work or SHRM a plus! The candidate will ideally possess knowledge and experience in compensation management fundamentals to include salary planning and management, incentive plan design and administration, executive compensation, job analysis and measurement. Some exposure to compensation and payroll administration, performance management, and international compensation basics to include expatriate work also desirable. Working knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Lotus Notes email, internet a must. Familiarity with MS Access and SAP a plus! Should also possess the following: strong quantitative and conceptual skills, high energy level and motivation; ownership attitude; detail oriented, research ability, HR exposure helpful, i.e. benefits, HRIS, and generalist's work; coordination to resolve issues and obtain information within the company and outside vendors; and must be a team player.
