COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST II

COMPUTER SYSTEMS ANALYST II     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following list is required for this position. Other duties may be assigned.   ·  Troubleshoot hardware, standard Microsoft Applicants, Local Area Networks ·  Work with remote offices to resolve common issues. ·  Set up and deployment of new PC’s ·  Installation of standard business software packages. ·  Assist in implementation of new network environments ·  Hardware and software inventory management ·  Assists with other routine or special task as assigned.   EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate degree (AA/AS) in IT or Communications or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to three years professional help desk experience desirable. Thorough knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Power Point desired.   OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong organizational skills, ability to coordinate multiple activities, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment and with all levels of personnel.  Ability to work under pressure and within tight schedules in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn new software.   Familiar with:   Microsoft Operating Systems, XP Pro & Vista network topology, Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Office 2003     Must be comfortable with remote tools and working with end users via telephone.    REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks under supervision, attention to detail, and ability to follow tasks to completion.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Some travel required.
