POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 

The Application specialist is responsible for the support of Marketing Campaign applications within Quaero’s hosted environment.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Support existing Unica clients with campaign execution, list pulls and data research.Support and document changes to the Unica environment.Support campaign execution in a service bureau model using Campaign Enterprise application.

· Work alongside other teams to troubleshoot and determine issue root cause.

· Work as team member with other Campaign Execution experts to maintain consistency of architecture and best practices.· Works to continually improve the clients hosted Campaign Execution solution with a focus on process improvement and best practices.

 

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work directly and effectively with clients.

· Strong problem solving skills and the ability to prioritize & work independently.

· Experience implementing and supporting Unica’s campaign management Suite of applications a plus; Affinium, eMessage, Plan etc...

· Experience using other campaign management applications is plus (i.e. Campaign enterprise, Oracle CRM etc…).

· Experience working on SQL server 2000/2005 or other database platform.

· Ability to understand business needs and recommend solutions.

· Knowledge of data entity relationships and data structures preferred.

· Ability to analyze existing campaign execution infrastructure and make improvement recommendations.

· Working knowledge of MS-Office, and experience with basic HTML is preferred.

· 1-2 years of campaign execution experience is required.
