Position Description

We are currently looking for a lead Central Offfice Technician in the Lenexa/Overland Park/Kansas City area.  This position will function as a lead installer for networking equipment deployments in Central Office environments across the U.S.  The qualified candidate will be responsible for conducting site surveys, preparing Bills of Materials, a method of Procedure, and installing networking equipment.  This position requires a high degree of professionalism and experience as you will be managing most contact with the end customer.

Skill RequirementsFamiliarity and experience in Central Office Environments Inside fiber installation standards and procedures DC Power cabling experience (hot work in BDFB highly desirable) Lacing & Stitching Cable testing (fiber, copper, coax) Act as lead on projects Responsible for the accuracy of all documentation as required Completing quality assurance procedure and checking the final product for errors Interfacing with customer contacts
