Function:

The incumbent is responsible for but not limited to the following roles and responsibilities: Act as Software Development and Security Software Development expert responsible for the emergent Secure Software Development certificationCertification Program development and maintenance of a Secure Software Development Professional Credential,Coordinate program development and implementation through volunteers and workshops Coordinate with Member Services, Corporate Development, Operations, Services, Outside Travel Service, and General Counsel, as may be necessary. Develop and Maintain appropriate relationships with other associations, organizations and constituentsSeek out and acknowledge volunteer requests to participate Communicate with volunteers Participate in computer based testing study and implementation

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to Director of Certification

The incumbent has no direct reports, but is primarily responsible for: Development of the new Secure Software Development Certified Professional certification product by the following means: Job Analysis Content Outline Exam Specification Test Development (item writing, review/evaluation and deployment)Exam Creation Examination pulls. Examination process Standard SettingItem review

Additional responsibilities include: Assisting in the maintenance of any or all of the following certification products:CISSP SSCP CAP ISSEP ISSAP ISSMP

by participating as a facilitator or acting as a resource in the following: Item writing, evaluation and deployment Exam Creation Examination pulls. Examination Administration process Item review Reviewing Candidates Comments Participates in projects to translate examinations to foreign languages Participates in the development of other new products Participates as a member of the Certification Scheme Committees Assists the DoC in fulfilling the role of Member Ombudsman Assists the DoC in fulfilling the role of Coordinator of Volunteer Activities

The incumbent will also have responsibility for participating in a plan to transition to an in-house item management system including, but not limited to:

·         Overseeing the input of new items to the selected item writing/capture product and item banking system.

·         Overseeing the delivery of newly written items to the current testing service to assure continuity of testing during the transition period.

·         Any other tasks that are required to facilitate a successful transition to the in-house maintenance capabilities of intellectual property.

Requirements:College degreeGood oral and written communications skillsGood interpersonal skills to deal with VolunteersFive (5) years of software development experience
