The incumbent will leverage industry and technical best practices to the position. They should demonstrate significant credibility and position themselves as a trusted advisor to their various client constituents. The ISE will work collaboratively with both the account sales and delivery teams in the identification, development and implementation of application solutions to achieve account growth objectives. The ISE must be able to convey POV's in the context of business impact. Also, the ISE will leverage the CSC's Innovation Center and other business partners in bringing thought leadership to the account.Essential Job FunctionsPerform Industry/Account needs analysis. Identify the business areas in greatest need of change using client needs, best practices, and competitor analyses. Assess delivery capabilities across existing accounts. Develop Solutions Strategy by understanding common best practices, innovations, and trends in and across industries and utilize industry knowledge base to create best practice models. Work with alliance partners to understand future offerings and influence direction. Leverage key business partners and service offerings into the strategy and value proposition. Devise strategies to facilitate transition from current state of business operations to desired future states to meet changing business environment and/or client needs. Solve complex business issues and problems through the application of technology based business solutions, processes and capabilities. Participate in proposal efforts and sales calls.Other QualificationsIn depth knowledge of and experience in the Energy, Chemicals and/or Natural Resources industry best practices. Preferable to have functional knowledge in process manufacturing, logistics, and/or financial business systems. Preferable to have ERP experience, particularly in SAP. Consultative approach to selling. Experience in offshore application outsourcing. Experience in developing profitable managed services solutions. Experienced in performing application portfolio assessments Strong problem solving skills and analytical capabilities. Strong presentation skills. Solid understanding of IT tools, development methodologies and project management. Ability to support multiple time zones. Ability to work as part of a multi functional team. Strong skills in gap analysis, highlighting current state, future state, client needs, best practices, and competition. Strong communication skills. Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity. Be resourceful and be self starter Willingness to travel 50% 6+ years of Chemical, Energy and Natural Resourcesindustryanalysis andstrategy determination. 5+years developing business architecture andtechnical consulting. 5+ yearsworking in several business areas within an industry. 3+years working with the client's mission, vision, and key performance requirements.
