SUMMARY
Ability to implement, maintain, and upgrade corporate WAN/LAN infrastructures
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor, maintain and support Corporate WAN/LANs“On-call” availability – 24 X 7 – rotating basisThorough understanding of TCP/IPExpert knowledge of Cisco IOSDeep understanding of network services – Frame Relay/ATM, ISDN, DSL, MPLSExpertise with Cisco PIX and ASA Firewalls Troubleshoot and resolve network issues Ability to quickly classify the severity of problems and respond accordinglyAdept with the ability to provide excellent detailed documentation Proficient in the Microsoft suite of applicationsMust possess strong oral and written communication skillsTime management proficiencyAbility to function independently with minimal supervisionAbility to lead team-oriented implementations as well as participate as a team member.

· Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
· Reasoning Ability
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
· Computer Skills
· Solid working knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, Switches, Routers, Firewalls,
· Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
· Technical Certification - Cisco CCNP or equivalent industry experience preferred.
· Working toward Cisco CCIE is a plus.
· Other Skills and Abilities
· Ability to function independently with minimal supervision
· Ability to quickly classify the severity of problems and respond accordingly
· Personal drive to progress technically and non-technically
· Flexible schedule to ensure departmental coverage 24/7/365
· Act as part of a 24x7 on-call rotation
