Citrix Administrator

Pomeroy IT Solutions has been in the IT industry since 1981. Our first location was in downtown Cincinnati, OH with 20 employees. The store's focus was retail sales of personal computers and related peripherals and software to end consumers. Today, we employ over 4,000 people, have 26 locations and provide companies with IT solutions ranging from application development to storage strategies to desktop management.

We currently have an opening for a Citrix Administrator. Must have the following skills: Netscaler, Edgesight, CAGs, application packaging and strong technical skills. This position is on-site in Minneapolis, MN. We also have 2nd and third shift positions which can be worked remotely.

1st shift: 8:30AM to 5:15PM
2nd: Shift 4:30PM to 12:15PM
3rd Shift 11:45PM to 8:30PM

Requirements:

Comprehensive listing of Citrix Skills.

Support existing published applications and installed application
upgrades.

Install Citrix patches when required.

Review and approval of all OS patches (Microsoft Security patches) to ensure there are no conflicts with Citrix.

Monitor systems to ensure availability and stability.

Installation, configuration and publishing new applications requested to groups.

Periodic Citrix upgrades.

End-user support when escalated by level 1 support.

Support is 24/7/365.

Participation in all Sev 1 bridge calls involving Citrix outages.

Problem resolution details from escalated issues submitted to
availability Mgr for outages affecting Citrix environments.


Configure Resource Manager and the Resource Manager Web Console to record historical data and create reports.

Maintain Citrix Logon scripts

Monitor and troubleshoot connectivity to the data store

Monitor and troubleshoot the Citrix IMA Service and the ICA
communication channel

Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot client performance and slow logons

Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot published applications

Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot printing and printing policies

Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot Citrix Policies


Monitor, optimize and troubleshoot Web Interface and Secure Gateway

Monitor, Optimize, and troubleshoot Citrix License console and Citrix
Client Con
