Claims Testing Lead

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Testing Lead will work directly with Project Management, Subject Matter Experts, External Customers, and the IT Development Team to help elicit, gather, analyze, document, and ensure testing requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and follow through to completion. Involve in all aspects of testing including but not limited to- unit testing, integrated testing, user acceptance testing as well as service pack and system upgrade testing.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



§ Work cross-functionally with internal departments and business partners

§ Document testing requirements, test scripts, and desired outcomes for testing initiatives

§ Identify opportunities for process optimization and manage resolution

§ Develop test plans for end-to-end and integrated testing, conduct end-to-end testing, and support QA testing

§ Maintain documentation regarding potential anomalies and manage resolution of production support issues

§ Support departments in test script development and in testing requirements

§ Review unit test results and report testing outcomes to management.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or the equivalent is preferred.  Candidate must possess 2 years of previous testing experience.  Also, must have 2-4 years previous experience in an HMO environment.  3-5 years Claims processing experience as well as strong working knowledge of Membership, Providers, Authorizations, and Referrals.
