Client Manager - Information Technology NJ-NY Area

The following permanent positions are with one of our clients within their ERP Solutions Practice. Our client is in need of a Client Manager to join there growing team of professionals. You would be based out of your home office and be provided with all the tools you need to succeed. The company has been in business since 1980 and is very well established. Title: Client Manager – Information Technology NJ-NY Area

Base + Commission  100K – 150K at Plan with no cap on income potential

Territory: Mid Atlantic – NJ, NY, PA



Skill Sets Required:

Minimum of 2 years in Sales of any type as long as you have a Degree in Information technology or 2+ years selling any type of IT Solution



The account manager must be able to communicate with all levels of client personnel, especially C-level employees for small to midsize corporations (SMB). The account manager must be highly skilled at public speaking and leading meetings. The account manager must have a vision for how customers can effectively manage and improve their businesses using our products, which include ERP and business analytics (business intelligence) tools. The account manager must be able to communicate that vision to the customer so that he too adopts it.

You must be able to help the customer create the expectation that our state-of-the-art software tools will help him improve his business, not just manage mundane transactions.

The account manager must have at least 2 years experience working with customers, successfully growing customer relationships and meeting revenue targets.  

The account manager must have a proven history of developing and implementing creative approaches to solving customer issues. Prior experience servicing customers for a software company is highly desired, and other backgrounds will be considered. Persons with a background in ERP software implementation consulting are encouraged to apply.

The account manager must be able to quickly master complex software from an end-user perspective (not a technical perspective) and to translate software functionality into quantifiable business benefits for clients. 

The account manager will be responsible for clients located throughout the NY, NJ, PA region. The account manager will need to develop strong relationships with each client and have a thorough knowledge of each client, which includes personnel, products, growth plans, and challenges.
