Job Category:System Programmer Analyst Leader Primary Location:USA-OH: OHIO-SHAKER HEIGHTSSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:Regular No Job Posting: 04/14/2008Description:Neurological Institute Application Support Analystresponsible for all of the activities relating to the support and tailoring efforts for the Neurological Institute's Departmental Applications including working independently and in-collaboration with other analysts and departmental staff. Analyst will work closely with other non-Neurological Institute application analysts to ensure the modifications and changes to the neurology applications do not impact other applications and databases. Analyst will assure compliance with department policies, procedures and standards. Assists departmental staff with application break/fix issues. Perform build and tailoring of Neurology applications as appropriate when requested by department managers and physicians. Manages workload and assignments within Remedy queue to ensure adherence to the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and needs. Provides subject matter expertise in departmental data flow, operational workflow and applications in the Neurological Institute. Serves as liaison with vendor representatives to keep current in regard to: the applications, the latest releases, the latest versions, the latest database version, and hardware. Assists in Database and Image file maintenance and development directly related to the Neurological Institute's Applications. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Outcomes Reporting, Neuro best practice content development in order set and clinical documentation development, Compliance with regulatory requirements, research, Integration of Inpatient and Ambulatory Care, and Interdisciplinary Care Model. Performs application maintenance as recommended by the application vendor. Provides estimates to Team Lead and project managers on work effort for project work. Assists customers in prioritizing service requests and estimates the work effort/duration and associated resources to determine organizational impact. Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement efforts that enhance operational cost efficiency, employee productivity, and customer service. On call duties as assigned.
