Job Category:System Administrator Professional Primary Location:USA-SC: SOUTH CAROLINA-BLYTHEWOODSchedule:Full-time Job Type:Regular Employee Status:RegularJob Posting: 04/15/2008Description: Essential Job Functions Cobol Application developer who is proficient in working with IMS HDAM and HIDAM databases and using secondary indexes, has written DL1 calls to both physical and logical IMS databases, and understands how to work with logical database relationshipse and delete rules, and can make the changes to the DBD's as appropriate 4 + years experience with IMS DB/DC COBOL, Batch Terminal Simulater BTS, IMS DBD's. and PSB's 2 + years experience with COBOL Scripting Language, MVS JCL,ROSCOE online development environment, and ROSCOE RPF's Optional Skills : Has worked with Alter Goto's Knows Microfocus REVOLVE Knows Microfocus COBOL Knows Microfocus Mainframe Express Has worked with IMS checkpoint restart Knows how to work with TSO CLISTS Knows DYL260 Knows DYL280 Knows CCF Librarian Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related field preferred Four or more years of experience with computer systems or networking Experience working with computer hardware for installation and upgrades Experience working with software installation/upgrading procedures Experience working with file and system maintenance procedures Other Qualifications Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work, and multitask Good analytical and problem solving skills to troubleshoot systems problems Good communication skills to communicate with support personnel, customers, and managers Ability to work independently and as part of a team scjobs Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
