Participate / facilitate the definition of requirements which will lead to specific Cognos configurations and customizations across the enterprise reporting systems. Translate requirements into customizations of Cognos ReportNet or Powerplay to meet Client needs. This includes administration functions as well. Test, package, and deliver report and model/package customizations to site for installation.. Champion of best practices for data utilization, security, and expansion across the enterprise for all information at the client. Experience in Oracle and SQL preferred. Experience implementing and administering Cognos ReportNet Version 8 preferred. Position is on-site in Blythewood SC US Citizenship required 3 + years administering Cognos PowerPlay and ReportNet. 3 + years creating Cognos ReportNet catalogs. 3 + years defining and creating PowerPlay cubes. 1 + yearCognos ReportNet upgrade/installation. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field preferred Four or more years of experience with technical product configuration, design, and/or integration Experience working with technical products, vendors, and families of technologies Experience working with product configurations Experience working with relevant software packages or classes of packages, and products within area of technical expertise Other Qualifications Good technical infrastructure design skills Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and management Good analytical and problem solving skills Good organization skills to balance and prioritize work Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to travel scjobs Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:None Create Success
