These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our clients move ahead of the competition. Job Description:  As a Technical Analyst, you will work on a variety of projects ranging in both size and scope. A Technical Analyst will assist in analysis and documentation of as-is capability, development and testing of new business processes and perform application design and assist with technology architecture and infrastructure activities. You will be responsible for portions of build, test and deployment as well. You must have system building concepts, technical architecture, program/project management, and application quality assurance experience. Key Responsibilities may include: • Work on a variety of projects ranging in both size and scope • Facilitate gathering, refining and prioritizing requirements from functional requirements team through meetings, questionnaires or interviews • Assess current business systems and define work items to identify and implement technical requirements that address system gaps/issues. • Translate functional business requirements into systemic requirements and detailed technical designs for major project application components. Maintain deep familiarity with systems development lifecycle • Familiarity with coding and unit testing Microsoft SQL Server database applications and/or Web UI and Services applications that support the requirements defined by users, product managers, and analysts • Work with analysis, testing, and business owner teams to understand desired system functionality • Provide development lead with work estimates and participate in scope setting. Communicate and defend design, requirements, feature set, functionality and/or limitations of systems • Ensure that code meets development specifications and is maintainable (has adequate comments and supporting documentation) • Create and execute unit tests exercising the code’s functionality and compatibility with other features prior to releasing code to test team • Participate in code reviews of other developer’s work; resolve code issues raised by analysis or test teams  Qualifications Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or Engineering • 1 year of technical experience in professional or academic environment  • 6 months of experience in software development and coding • 6 months of experience with the software development lifecycle methodology Preferred Skills• Ability to design applications that perform efficiently, are operationally stable and meet the business requirements • Solid working knowledge of development practices for working with a team of developers • Excellent programming and problem solving skills; experience and aptitude in using the latest Microsoft development tools and technologies • Solid understanding of software architectures applicable to project • Demonstrated knowledge of software development lifecycle methodology and software development practices • Ability to provide development estimates  Professional Skill Requirements • Solid written and verbal communication skills • Strong business/functional knowledge of the specific area of work • Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills required • Strong analytical and organizational skills • Ability and experience leading a technical team To submit resumes online Click Here  Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
