Essential Job Functions Assists in managing the research, development, implementation, and publication of communication vehicles; upgrades publications with regard to design and content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and relevancy. Consults with other areas of management or business units, sales departments and advertising agencies to leverage various media outlets such as web marketing, trade show activity and direct marketing. Assists in preparing sales aids; oversees advertising and public relations projects; recommends the media to be used to sell specific products or services in order to support marketing objectives. Oversees the writing and production of internal and external communications materials including brochures, newsletters, presentations, advertisements, service sheets, employee handbooks and electronic communication; ensures content succeeds in conveying business and organizational messages to employees. Provides ideas for company website structure; works in conjunction with appropriate parties to enhance the appeal of communication material. Plans and oversees communication events or campaigns to ensure efficient operation and support business communication needs. Manages the logistics of distributing communication materials to ensure timeliness and consistency across business units. Interacts with vendors to produce, review, and approve of communication material. Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions. Motivates and rewards employees including providing salary increases, bonuses and promotions within allocated budgets and company guidelines. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred Nine or more years of communications experience Five or more years of supervisory experience included Experience working with company products and operating systems Experience working with communications practices, principles and procedures Experience working with computer industry Other Qualifications Good marketing and advertising skills Strong communication skills Good interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and upper management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to deal with ambiguity and change Willingness to travel Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
