Candidates will complete a two-week comprehensive in-house training program for formal certification. Must possess an activeSecret security clearance Responsibility's will include: Inventory seized computers for identifiable information. Duplicate magnetic media. Recover active, system, and hidden filenames with date/time stamp information. View various file formats using browser technology and selectively print files of interest. Provide on-site computer backup support (hard drive duplication) to DEA domestic offices. Analyze magnetic media (desktops, laptops, servers, disks, cell phones, and PDAs. Testify in Federal Court as Subject Matter Expert after completion of moot court training. Domestic travel required. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 2-3 years experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Information Systems Security Professional (ISSP) certifications preferred 2years experience using Guidance Software "EnCase" system. ENCE, IASIS, CFCE, CISSP certifications preferred. 3 years experience in a computer forensics position required, experience with law enforcement preferred. 2-3 years experience working with a wide range of computer hardware and software 2-3years experience working with systems infrastructure including hardware configuration, operating system, and networks Possess Department of Defense (DoD) security access of ADP I, ADP II, or ADP III Pass background checks such as NAC, NACLC, and/or SSBI Other Qualifications Communication skills to communicate with customers Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills Ability to keep sensitive and confidential material private Willingness to travel up to 50% Remote Work Location Authorized:No Relocation Assistance:Not AvailableClearance Level:Secret Create Success
