Skilled and experienced IA professionals needed to conduct activities to detect, deter, and neutralize technological cyber threats against U.S. personnel, facilities, and information systems from foreign intelligence services and terrorist organizations. In this position you will lead the intelligence analyses of cyber incidents to identify entities of interest; their methods, motives, and capabilities; determine malicious behavior; and recognize emergent patterns and linkages to visualize the larger picture of cyber-based attacks.An array of traditional and state-of-the-art analytical processes and tools will be utilized to develop final end products. The work will be performed in a state-of-the-art environment at a sponsor location in support of operational events, working closely with Government and other Information Assurance/Information Security technical team members. Candidate will lead taskings, provide strategic insights, and mentor junior staff.CISSP Certification highly preferred!Educational and Experience Basic Qualifications Must hold an ACTIVE DoD TS/SCI Clearance! Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred Seven or more years of experience in network, host, data and/or application security in multiple operating system environments You will be expected to possessbackground and experiencein order to perform the following: Demonstrated ability to provide integrated cyber-technical expertise through the conduct of cyber investigations, cyber analytical activities, evaluation of information/technical/physical security systems and practices, and related duties. Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate and analyze cyber events of significance; adapt and develop tools for applying standard cyber security and analysis practices; Proven ability to perform all source intelligence analysis to determine and report on characteristics of various systems/issues and other project/program objectives. Demonstrated ability to analyze classified and unclassified networks to identify security vulnerabilities and intrusion detection parameters; report changes, trends and implications of evolving issues; collect data, analyze results, and prepare reports relating to project/program objectives; integrate research results and analysis into operations. Proven ability to establish liaison with DoD agencies and offices, including Security and Information Systems, the US Intelligence Community and law enforcement agencies. Demonstrated ability to understand and assimilate intelligence involving cyber-related data and produce coherent written analyses. Demonstrable and/or verifiable experience performing vulnerability assessments, conducting incident response or computer forensics. Proven experience in Windows system administration, TCP/IP, and intrusion detection. Demonstrated experience with computer and network security, andoperational understanding of WAN and IP addressing. Proven experience in Cyber investigations and use of cyber forensics analysis tools. Demonstrated experience in cyber analysis and its relationships within the counterintelligence domain Proven knowledge of the mission, structure and key intelligence programs of the USIC. Proven knowledge of various analytical tools, including Analyst Notebook, Pathfinder, Query Tree, M3, and others Proven ability to process raw data into concise and accurate information/intelligence reports without requiring additional checks or questions of the author.
