Computer Operator
Peapod, a rapidly growing online grocery shopping/delivery service, is seeking a full-time Computer Operator for our Skokie, IL Corporate Office.

The primary purpose of this role is providing first line help desk support to the corporate offices as well as off-site facilities.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify and analyze all application issues
• Monitor & diagnose all system problems: Network, Windows, UNIX, AS400
• Provide guidance and assistance on internal software for all facilities and end users
• Responsible for tracking and modifying Ticket tracking system
• Troubleshoots printer issues for all facilities: HP, Eltrons, OCE, O'neil
• Provide support for the Corporate Data Back-up strategy
• Assists with the training of new employees in the department
• Troubleshoot, program and deploy all picking, receiving and staging equipment
• Assist with documenting procedures and updating training materials
• Assist with Troubleshooting, Repairing and Inventorying all Symbol Equipment
• Assist Management Team with department projects
• Possible traveling to facilities for training

Desirable Additional Skills/Experience:
• Minimum High School diploma plus additional technical training required
• Minimum 1-2 years experience needed
•Specialized knowledge needed for performance of the job
• AS400, Printers, Microsoft OS & Applications knowledge
